Liberating Love

Confined in strange emotions

Let me call it love...

An amalgamation in the beginning..

Not aesthetic, as it resonates

Neither fierce nor fragile

And ruins you beyond imagination..

From hub to ibadat, the transitions...

Carried over for years.

Bound deeper!

Ishq is an intense flame..

Desired to ache..lovers!!

Sparkled through oneness!

Until I cease to be you...

Finally, yearning for freedom.

To liberate me from us..

Living secrets of words and pain...

Reckoning the lost oblivion.

Puzzle of 90s

Going nowhere but back home,

Swinging to your thirties

You romanticize life with peace

To find a meaning,

In a city you never belong,

You invest in every vantage point...

Mistakenly identify the reasons

Consistently fitting into

Puzzle of the modern realm,

But living in the 90s at heart

When love was aesthetic…

With the art of waiting...

For letters and postcards!

Writing with ink that erases

Agonies and often regrets...

Broadest beauty of belongingness!

AS A SUNFLOWER

The shaded glass tints
Concealed, not camouflaged
Brave enough to confront the lost...
Diligently wiping off the vestiges
Unraveling all the pain around me
To imbibe the truth...
The path is futile, recluse!
Somewhere we are meant to leave...
Dwindled into the molecules
Until the universe devours
Breathless, I bloom again as a sunflower!
But I’m not your lover anymore.
Chasing after you for the light to shine.
I will be utterly empty.
To cast life in the emptiness.
